Upmarket caravan brand Buccaneer has just launched two motorhomes for the 2026 season

Buccaneer, a name that in recent years has been most associated with upmarket caravans, is launching two motorhome models for the 2026 season.

For the first time since the Buccaneer brand became part of the County Durham-based manufacturer now known as Erwin Hymer UK, the brand’s line-up will include two low-profile motorhomes, based on a Fiat Ducato.

Both of the Buccaneer motorhomes are four-berths, with an MTPLM of 3650kg, so they can currently only be driven by people with a C1 licence (see: what driving licence do I need to drive a motorhome?” for more on this).

The Quantum F-4F has a French bed with a corner washroom at the rear, while the Quantum F-4S has fixed single beds in front of a rear washroom. Both have front lounges with parallel settees. Both cost £94,505 OTR.

Both vehicles come with the 140bhp Ducato engine and eight-speed gearbox as standard, along with a solar panel, cab air conditioning, a roll-out awning, a Tracker system and a rear view camera.

Interiors are decked out with high gloss cream cabinetry mixed with matt charcoal feature furniture units. Backrests on settees are quilted and come with leather, jade and cream accents, while scatter cushions are heavily textured.

For £5000 more, you can get the Lux edition. This also includes an engine upgrade to 180bhp, a motorhome tyre pressure monitoring system, a spare wheel, and a B Sense Safety Pack, which includes pedestrian, rain and light sensors, lane support, traffic light recognition, driver drowsiness detection, and intelligent speed assist.

Other optional extras include a tow bar (£706), a cab colour change to black from standard Artense silver (£848) and cream or dark brown leather upholstery (£3499).

Buccaneer is not the only brand to be sharing information about its new season launches. Another name to be doing so is Carthago, with the German manufacturer refreshing its chic c line range and bringing out new c2 tourers on Fiat bases.
