Hymer adds to the Mercedes-based B-MC’s features for 2026

A pressurised water pump, electric central locking of the kitchen and a touchscreen water level that can give you a precise reading in 1% increments are among the new features Hymer is adding to its B-MC range for the 2026 season.

B-MC models, which run on a Mercedes Sprinter and include the Super Light chassis (SLC) Hymer developed in conjunction with Mercedes itself, are available as either a low-profile or A-class.

For 2026, all models also come with a redesigned washroom area with integrated storage space and indirect lighting. The kitchen also gets a compressor fridge.

On the outside, flaps for the water inlet and mains hook-up now sit flush with the body, while a redesigned front and rear panel and new high gloss black elements add to premium look.

Inside, you get a choice of furniture finishes – either elegant “Rochefort Nuss” or a brighter feel with “Matara Teak”, while a four-zone lighting system is designed to be both functional and aesthetic.

The SLC chassis has a lower centre of gravity to improve driving stability – and t0 provide a double floor for better storage.

You can control and customise all living functions on the vehicle, including water levels, temperate and lighting, via the Hymer Connect app. The company also offers two self-sufficiency packages with inverters and up to four battery modules.

Hymer is not the only brand who has been sharing information about its latest releases, with Malibu launching a new Fiat-based campervan range which is designed to maximise the feeling of space. Another model is the Dashaway eRC from converter Wheelhouse, which could be the first ever Tesla “campervan”.
