Carthago has upgraded its chic c-line range for 2026 and is extending the lighter-weight, narrower c2 tourer A-class range it launched last season to include Fiat-based vehicles for the first time.
New Mercedes Sprinter-based chic c-line models from the manufacturer of luxury motorhomes will now come with the “V-face” front facade that was first introduced last season on Mercedes-based e-line vehicles.
This features a hexagonal radiator grille with five crossbars, a prominent chrome-plated “C” in the middle, and grey “A” pillars that stretch all the way up to the roof.
All new c-line models also come with a new interior. Standard “Amalfi” style features an “Exclusive Walnut” furniture finish with overhead lockers with bi-colour handle-free doors, and worktops in natural stone effect.
Optional “Cortina” style has the same furniture finish, only the handle-free locker doors this time come in muted white, like the kitchen drawers, and the worktops are wood effect.

Kitchens have also been upgraded with a new floating worktop, a raised counter that acts as a room divider as well as a worktop, and a bar cabinet on the rear wall with a pull-out wine rack.
There are some 14 models in the new c-line range, once you include both including both Fiat Ducato- and Mercedes Sprinter-based vehicles. This includes a new T 4.9LE layout with fixed single beds in the rear.
Some 7.34m long on a Fiat or 7.5m long on a Mercedes, this weighs at least 4200kg, so is only for those with a C1 licence (see: what driving licence do I need to drive a motorhome for more on this).
The “V-face” facade is also being made available this season on chic s-plus and liner for two models.
The German manufacturer is also widening the number of narrower c2 tourer A-class motorhomes it first introduced last season, which included the Carthago C2 Tourer I 145 RB LE Lightweight 3.5t, a winner at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2025. For the new season, some will now be running on a Fiat Ducato base vehicle for the first time. That means there are now eight models in the range, available on either base vehicle and either in “lightweight 3.5t” or “comfort 4.2t” versions, including one Edition+ model.

At the same time, Carthago is phasing out the wider c1 tourer A-class models, except for the I 149 RB LE model. It will continue to be available as a c1 tourer or a c2 A-class on a Mercedes or on a Fiat, but only as a “comfort 4.2t” model.
The front facade of all c1- and c2-tourer A-classes (except for the c1 tourer Edition+ I 149 RB-LE “comfort 4.2t”) has been redesigned with sharper contours.

C1-tourer low-profiles, meanwhile, will be continuing, with all available as ‘lightweight 3.5t” or “comfort 4.2t” versions, except for the T 148 K-LE H and the Edition+ T 149 RB-LE, both of which are only available as “comfort 4.2t” versions, owing to their length. There are also two new models – the T 147 RB-LE K with fixed single beds, and the T 148 RB-QB K, with an island bed.
For this season all c1 tourer low-profiles will be available with either white or black metallic cab.

All c tourers come as standard with “Casablanca 2” styling. This features a bi-colour fine cherry and high gloss ivory furniture finish. As an alternative, you can go for “Nuovo” style with a more muted furniture finish. Both these styles include handle-free locker doors. If you would prefer handles, they are available on the “Casabanca 1” style in the c1 tourer T 148 KB-LE H.
Chic s-plus models this season will benefit from the new-look Iveco Daily cab. This now comes with a wireless charging pad, dedicated spaces for a phone and a tablet, a two-way adjustable steering column and a new Hi-Mac gear selector, as well as a 10-inch infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and includes motorhome-related sat nav.
For 2026 all e-line, s-plus and liner for two models will come with a 10-inch touchscreen display for checking on board systems. c-line models will have the same but with a 7-inch display.
Carthago’s sister brand, Malibu, has also shared information about its new season releases. Malibu’s 2026 launches include a new Fiat-based campervan range, which has been designed to maximise the feeling of space.
While it’s still too early to say what will be on display at the show, the October NEC Show is fast approaching and will be a great opportunity to see the latest releases from leading brands, including Carthago.
