NEC Show organiser responds to Camping and Caravanning Club’s October Show absence: “We wish them every success with their anniversary celebrations”

The organiser of the two big motorhome and caravan shows at the NEC has said it accepts why the Camping and Caravanning Club (C&CC) won’t be exhibiting at either of the next two shows, and added that the club would still be promoting the shows to its members.

The Camping and Caravanning Club has said it has decided to “pause” its attendance at both the Motorhome & Caravan Show, due to run at the NEC from 14 to 19 October this year, and at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show, due to run at the same venue from 17 to 22 February next year.

The organisation is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, and it said it wanted to “fully focus on building excitement and buzz around this exceptional milestone”.

“It will be a very exciting time for the club, and we want to make it a truly celebratory occasion,” it added.

In response, NCC Events, which runs both shows, said it wished the club “every success with their anniversary celebrations”, and added that it was pleased to see the club confirming that it will continue to promote both shows to all of its members.

In the past few years, the Camping and Caravanning Club has had a substantial presence at both shows, with at least one large stand that has often included an expert theatre and a place for members to relax.

While it is too early to say what will be on display at the NEC this October, manufacturers have started sharing information about their 2026 season releases. This includes Pilote, which has added two Ford-based low-profiles and a campervan with a flexible bed set-up, while Fleurette has added a longer compact layout and a special edition which encourages relaxation.
