Chausson is returning to offer more of its vehicles on either a Ford or a Fiat chassis, while it introduces four new models across its range.
For the 2026 season, two new conventional low-profiles – the 797, a motorhome with fixed single beds, and the 798, an island bed motorhome – will be available on either a Ford chassis in Titanium Line, or an Ultimate Line Fiat chassis, as will the existing end washroom 640 model.

Ford versions will feature a more modern design, aimed at the younger market, while the Fiat-based models will be more traditional.
In previous years, Chausson had a wide range of its models on either a Ford Transit or a Fiat Ducato. But in the wake of more recent problems with the Fiat supply chain, it had been concentrating more on Ford-based vehicles.

Within the company’s compact low-profile range, the new S614 transverse bed model now features a hideaway bed imported from the crossover X range.

Meanwhile both the continuing X models – the X550 and X650 – now come with a new washroom design with a swivel partition, an ergonomic basin and mirror and an overall design that is meant to limit water splashes.
The company’s three Fiat-based overcab models – the C727, C656, and C514 – are continuing. They now come with 100% polyester walls made in a sandwich construction method with Styrofoam insulation to make the van more able to cope with extreme weather conditions and prevent water ingress. The polyester walls are also easier to wash.
Chausson is not the only brand releasing information about its 2026 releases, with Pilote adding two Ford-based low-profiles, as well as a campervan with a flexible bed set up. Fleurette has also added a longer compact layout and a special edition.
While it’s too early to say exactly what will be on display, visitors to the October NEC Show should expect to see the latest releases from a wide range of manufacturers; however, one name that will not be there will be the Camping & Caravanning Club, which has decided to pause its attendance. The show organisers have said they accept why the Club will not be in attendance and wish them every luck with their anniversary celebrations.
